My dear friend Sue (who has an awesome blog, Vintage Rescue Squad), recently posted a comment on sleepwear on Facebook that made me realize that my sleepwear habits qualify for comment within the "run lazy" philosophy.
Most mornings I try to do some yoga or pilates (and occasionally something more ambitious) before I start off my day. Nothing major, just 20 minutes of downward dogging it and rocking the shivasana to give myself some mental clarity.
However, managing that AND getting dressed for it are apparently too taxing for me, so I sleep in my yoga clothes. Pretty much every night.
Does this strategy work? Yes. Is it kind of sad that I recognize that if I add even one more step to my morning routine nothing productive will happen? Damn skippy.
I'm telling ya, it's brilliant. I just get up and walk my dog. Thanks for the shoutout!

Lol this reminds me of a funny thing that happened to me. I enjoy being comfortable and hence I will wear my PJs for cleaning and when I am home. Well I also tended to get up and drive the kids to the bus stop in them as well. For the pure fact it was harder tog et up earlier to dress my self as well. Well Marty always woudl warn me not to. Then the day came! I was three months pregnant with Quinn and the car broke down about a mile from home. I walked back in mt best jammies and it was a quiet area so no one saw me anyway. thing is no I never learned a lesson I would still do it! It is just that point time in teh morning is so precious that getting up one second sooner than I need to upsets the entire day.
